Here's the first sign our lives were changing forever...
OK, the second... the first wasn't quite as clear, so I went to Kroger and got this one. Of course I went through the self-checkout to avoid any discussion about the matter.... why? Not really sure... after all, we're married and have good jobs, there should be nothing to be embarrassed about or anything to hide... But like any attempt to avoid being noticed, there was a problem. I didn't swipe it over the special checkout area that deactivates the sensor, so the alarm went off when I tried to leave. That was fun.
Either way, it was all worth it, because we got great news!
