So all this time, we've said that Avery really is the sweetest, most docile child we've met...
Until now.
While 95% of the time she's perfect...well behaved, quiet, playing nicely with toys, etc....
5% of the time she's the most stubborn, spoiled, indecisive little girl ever! basically, like a child her age acts for the most part. when did this happen?!
So she loves standing and crawling and following you, and loves to watch her baby einstein dvd's... and trilling her tongue (like you would to roll your r's in french, or to say ll's in spanish). here comes the weird part.
She HATES twinkle twinkle little star. there are a few scenes in one of her dvd's with it playing where she'll literally refuse to watch the tv, and she'll start making noises so you'll fast forward...and then she's happy! i knew this, but didn't really think about it one night and while trying to get her to go to sleep, started singing this classic lullaby to her... yes, it was twinkle twinkle. she got all upset, and i just thought it was because she wanted to stay awake... but no... it's the song. why? no clue. but i can guarantee you we won't have that song on a cd to lull her to sleep... or in car rides... or ever!
all in all she's still awesome... loves riding in the stroller (95% of the time), eats well, sleeps in the car... you name it. she's the best!

oh heavens!! no twinkle?? might be a good thing for you guys!!! And be thankful it is only 5% of the time. I have already seen tantrums from Mariela and she is not even in "her" territory yet. thanks for giving me forewarning!
i think you all have disappeared and avery has hidden you under her blanket!
