So I'm going to assume most of you have heard of the PBS phenomenon Super Why...
for those of you who haven't, it's a cartoon that teaches kids to read and spell and uses storybook characters and stories to teach lessons.
So Avery has always loved this show, since she was in the bouncy chair just making noises at it. Well, now it has become an obsession. she LOVES this show. has to play the games on the computer (well, watch us play anyway). she gets so excited, she participates by putting her hand in when it's time to, and giving a thumbs up when it's time to, and pointing to letters and words. i can't say i think it's a bad thing since she seems to have learned a lot of letters and how to follow directions, but since when does a one year old love a show this much? i guess they love their blankie and their toys that much depending on the kid, but it's just really funny to me.
i should be really glad that she loves a show that promotes reading so early, right?!
otherwise she's doing really well, into everything and running around and causing trouble. cute as can be, too! she's so affectionate and loving towards her stuffed animals and us, and makes the sign for "love" at just about everything! she also likes to pick out her clothes, which is so much fun. :)
still working on milk drinking, but otherwise everything is going great!
also fighting a cold right now, but she's in good spirits and still all over the place! and currently watching Super Why.....
