Christmas 2009

So this year Avery was totally into everything Christmas....the tree, presents, toys, snow...and even plastic santa (he has another name but not everyone knows it...). Real Santa can stay away as far as she's concerned! In any case, she had a blast. We had Christmas Eve with my parents and then Santa visited our house that night, for presents Christmas morning. Santa Paws even made a stop by! (That's Arby, btw) Loved opening presents, and finally knew what to do with them! She got lots of books and fun toys, along with some cute clothes which we wore immediately! She really loves her plasmacar, but doesn't quite understand what you do to make it move, so i have to ride it with her around the house. It's really funny. She is so much fun now that she really does play and enjoy toys and going to the park. SOMEDAY she'll decide to talk! until then, she communicates with sign language and lots of pointing. :)
